What the Strategy Says
Source: City of Edmonton, The Chinatown Strategy (2017). Read the PDF
Implement the Chinatown Strategy through leadership, shared responsibility and resourcing.
“Economic development will be most effective through a collaborative effort united under a unified community leadership network.”
The Chinatown Strategy is community-driven and enabled. While the City of Edmonton played a role in its development, it was the strong commitment of cultural organizations, the retail and business sector, and community organizations in Chinatown that made it possible.
