Our Work
Youth Leadership and Dragon Boat
Develop a process of mentorship for the new generation of leaders in Chinatown that facilitates the transfer of knowledge. (Action 7.3)
Chinatown has persevered because of bold community leadership. CTC invests in that leadership for the future by engaging youth as tour guides, event organizers and community ambassadors.
Chinatown Dragon Boat Team
The Chinatown Dragon Boat Team trains each summer and competes at the Edmonton Dragon Boat Festival at Louise McKinney Park, the home of Edmonton's Chinese Garden. Paddlers of all experience levels are welcome.
Sustain a Vibrant Chinatown
The revitalization of Chinatown requires a unified community and strong partnerships. Contributions from individuals and organizations sustain the programs, events and advocacy that keep Chinatown a celebrated, thriving destination now and into the future.
